About
We began with an idea. What if we could create a place to live that was sustainable, energy efficient, and be surrounded by nature? What if that place would also allow us to grow our own food, year round? What would that house be like? We envisioned a space we could enter with lush growth and warmth, throughout a New England Winter. What if that space was fully integrated into our home design so we could enter and leave without going outside? This was the concept behind building Wintergreenhouse.
Vision
A fully integrated home and greenhouse operational year round, and fueled by the sun
Mission
To share our journey of building and operating Wintergreenhouse with others to learn and perfect this concept, so that more houses like this can be built. The house is now under construction, but we will share or experiences in the pages to come!
